Dune 2 released on Wocki's site

Wocki has released Dune 2 and can be downloaded from his site.

Dune 2 is a great ex-commercial real-time strategy game and can also be downloaded for free from here.

Eclipse's RISC OS products are now owned by CJE Micro's so you can buy a copy with a manual for around £5 from CJE.

This game is too big to be archived in a ADF image so you'll need to use HostFS or something.

Burn 'Out Released on Wocki's site

Super Snake 1.26 Released

Super Snake from Paul Vigay is now 32-Bit compatible so it'll work on a Iyonix or A9Home.

If you've played the Nokia version of Snake or Snake II on a mobile phone then you know what Super Snake is.

This version is Shareware and can be downloaded from here.

Kinetic RiscPC on sale on eBay

I know this isn't really gaming news but is very interesting.

A Kinetic RiscPC with RISC OS 4.02, 128 MB Ram and a 4GB hard drive is being sold on eBay.

The current bid is £170 so if you want a nice RiscPC to sit on your desktop bid for it now!

RPCemu 0.5 Released

Tom Walker has released version 0.5 of RPCemu!

The new changes are:

Optimised flag emulation, outer loop, pipeline refilling - 30% speed increase

Couple of new instructions - latest Artworks Viewer now runs

Bugfix in IOMD timers - !ArcQuake and !SICK now workBugfix in MMU - large memory configurations work with all OSes now

Bugfix in dirty buffering - no more display artifacts

Windows interface slightly better

Added workaround for blitting issues on some graphics cards

Preliminary sound emulation (Windows 9x only)
