Wocki's Acorn Emulation CD-Rom
I haven't bought this CD-Rom but I have tried most of Wocki's software and have decided to write a review on them.
All of Wocki's software is included on the CD-Rom.
This CD is well worth 7.50 Euros if your a low-bandwith internet user using a RISC OS Emulator that requires disc images.
There aren't very recent games on the CD but it's great for Nostalgic Memories of playing BugHunter 2 and Elite.
If you are using a native RISC OS machine or Virtual RPC machine then this isn't for you and if you have Broadband then it's a bit of waste of money because all of the software can be downloaded from Wocki's site, acorn.revivalteam.de.
Wocki's Disc Images and software have been very helpful to me when my machine went bang and I had to get out the dusty old Windows XP laptop.
Wocki's site is aimed as Virtual A5000 and Archimdes emulator users but most of the Disc Images will work on RPCemu on My
Windows XP Centrino Laptop.
This CD does contain the recently released ArcGB, Fish, BugHunter in Space, Terramex, TopBannana and lots more!
There are hours of fun here and I highly recommend it.
I Haven't tried any of the Disc Images on RPCEmu runnig RISC OS 4 but I have tested most of them with RISC OS 3.71 and RISC OS 3.11 with Arculator.
I am currently planning to buy a RISC OS 4 machine and I'll get the Rom Images running on RPCEmu and I'll try and test the Disc Images with and post the results on the site.
