Only a minor update this time around and hasn't been as big as Version 3.06 or Version 3.05 but does fix a couple of bugs.
I must say that Chris Bazley has done a great job of updating one of RISC OS's finest games ever created.
In case you don't know, StarFighter 3000 is a 3D futuristic flight simulator game set in the year 3000 and has been ported to the PSOne and the PC and was planned to be ported to other platforms too.
You are on a live Television Game Show where the aim of the game is to brutaly kill the other pilots.
The new updates from Chris will work on every version of StarFighter ever released, even the original 1994 Floppy Discs.

RISC OS 5 Compatibility
RISC OS 4.40 (Adjust 32) and 4.39 (Adjust) Compatibility
Various bug fixes
Level and mission editors
Chris's work continues, he even runs his own website dedicated to the game, starfighter.acornarcade.com
Chris was interviewed in The Icon Bar's fourth podcast and Chris admited that he is so dedicated to this game that he even fixes bugs that most people will never notice, like pixels out of line.
The last patch for StarFighter that Chris released was Version 3.07 back in November, 3.07 was released three days after Version 3.06 was released!
StarFighter was originaly written by FedNet Software back in 1994, in the days of Acorn and the first RiscPC 600, twelve years ago.
FedNet also released the brilliant StuntRacer 2000 and if I'm correct Chocks Away.
FedNet have now left the market but SF3000 is now sold through iSV and APDL and SR2000 and Chocks Away is sold through 4D and APDL.
StarFighter 3000 is now sold on a compilation CD-Rom from iSV Products called the 'Other Worlds' CD.
iSV and APDL are currently charging £16.50 but CJE and Liquid Silicon have their own prices for the CD.

Although StarFighter 3000 is over 12 years old and is nearly as old as me, SF3000 is still one of the best native games on RISC OS ever!
